This Privacy Policy explains how Heidong VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') collects, uses, stores, and protects necessary information when you download, install, access, or use our mobile and desktop applications (referred to as the 'App'). When you download and launch the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including but not limited to Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, crash logs, connection status, and session duration. To improve server recommendations and connection quality, we may process approximate regional information. This data is used for: 1. node and route recommendations based on Heidong VPN's infrastructure; 2. performance optimization through anonymized or aggregated diagnostics; 3. service communications such as security notices, service changes, and required account messages.

We only transmit aggregated or limited data to necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase crash analysis, for app distribution, crash diagnostics, and feature improvement. Except in the following cases, we do not disclose personal information to third parties: 1. to comply with applicable law, legal process, or regulatory requirements; 2. where necessary to protect users, the public, or platform security; 3. to work with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. To stop new data generated by the App, you may uninstall it through the standard process on your device.

User-provided data is retained during the active account period and for a reasonable retention period thereafter. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from that group. If such information is discovered, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Guardians may contact us through the same email. We use access controls, encrypted transmission, and appropriate physical and electronic safeguards to protect data.
